Destination Tourism Insights Presented by Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association,

Mastercard,  and National Hotel & Tourism Associations

CHTA has partnered with Mastercard to provide CHTA Members exclusive access to Mastercard’s Tourism Insights

CHTA Members will have the opportunity to view insights for three markets in the region – Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and Puerto Rico. From the moment a visitor types a destination into a search bar, to when they post a tweet during their trip, Mastercard’s Tourism Insights identify trends incorporating publicly available search engine trends and aggregated purchase trends.

CHTA Members can leverage this access to relevant, smart data and tourism insights to reach their “ideal” tourist, increase efficiency, and optimize their marketing investments to maximize return on investment.

Puerto Rico:

  • Analyze the effects of COVID-19 on the tourism industry and create a recovery plan.
