Pablo Torres currently serves as Chairman Elect of the Puerto Rico Hotel and Tourism Association (PRHTA) and 5th Vice President of the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA). He is also leading the Owners and General Managers Committee on behalf of PRHTA.

Pablo is the current to general manager of the Caribe Hilton in San Juan, Puerto Rico, where he incidentally began his hospitality career as a food and beverage management trainee back in 1992.

He has a successful and proven track record in hospitality management spanning over 25 years. Pablo’s Broad international experience in Hospitality Management; includes countries; such as: United States, United Kingdom, Belgium, South Korea, Israel, Ecuador, Venezuela, Mexico, Colombia, Trinidad, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Aruba and The Bahamas.

He has held a myriad of key leadership positions with many internationally recognized hotel companies throughout the Caribbean and Latin America. He also spent a term at Hilton’s international corporate office in the United Kingdom providing him with an opportunity to work on projects globally from the UK and Europe to Asia and the Middle East. Most recently Pablo held the following positions as general manager: British Colonial Hilton Nassau in The Bahamas, Hilton Short Hills in New Jersey.

Torres attended the Hotel School of Venezuela and The Hocking College in Nelsonville, Ohio, where he received an associate’s degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. Additionally, he attended Cornell University hospitality training programs where he received several certifications.
