SOURCE MARKET WINTER WEATHER FORECAST, CARIBBEAN WEATHER AND SARGASSUM FORECAST

The Caribbean Institute for Meterology and Hydrology (CIMH), a CHTA and CTO partner organization, provides a quarterly forecast to help tourism businesses and policymakers identify and prepare for favourable or inclement climate conditions in the Caribbean and source markets, before they occur. This quarterly bulletin can inform strategic and operational decisions related to the use of environmental resources, marketing, and enhancement of the visitor experience. Read the report here.

The sargassum situation for the Caribbean continues to improve. Most sargassum in the region has disappeared in satellite imagery according to the University of South Florida Optical Oceanography Lab. Please see the update and link for satellite imagery here.
