Just when you think the subject of the Air Passenger Duty (APD) has faded away, the Airport Operators Association (AOA), a trade body that represents 55 airports across the United Kingdom, have made it front and center once again. They have called on the British Chancellor George Osborne to cut the tax by at least 50 percent in his budget next month and to clearly define the future, if any, of APD.
