Be a Warm Weather Escape for Snow Birds this Winter

With record breaking low temperatures hitting the US this winter, many avid travelers will flock to the New York Times Travel Show to find their ideal warm weather escape for the season.  Don’t miss the opportunity to showcase your property at the New York Times Travel Show, the largest and longest-running trade and consumer trade show in North America. Donate night stays for the silent auction, showcase your hotel in front of thousands of avid travelers, while you help secure a bright future for our industry and for hundreds of Caribbean students.

Due to the severe impact of the hurricanes this year, 25% of the hotels and destinations which have historical donated have been impacted and may be unable to support with hotel stays as they have in the past. Your donation will be more impactful than ever! We hope we can count on your support and hotel stay donation again.

The Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Association Education Foundation is one of the largest charitable programs in the Caribbean hospitality industry and has raised and awarded more than US$2.5 million in scholarships and grants since its inception.

All the proceeds raised from your hotel stays are used to fund programs which improve the level of professionalism and enhance employee training in the region. For example, the proceeds from this year’s fundraising awarded 35 scholarships totaling more than US$150,000. Additionally, the Foundation will be expanding its reach to include internationally recognized certification and credentialing courses; providing immediate, tangible results for the industry regionally. Feel free to contact foundation@caribbeanhotelandtourism.com with any questions you may have about the Foundation and its programs.
